HHC FAQ

Learning about cannabinoids can be a little confusing since the cannabis plant is full of compounds made up of many different letters, such as THC, CBD, and HHC. Which leads us to our first question:

Q: What does HHC stand for?

  HHC stands for hexahydro cannabinol.

Q: What is HHC?

HHC is a hemp-derived chemical compound that can be found in trace amounts within the cannabis plant.  Similarly, to its cannabinoid cousins THC and CBD, HHC reacts with the endocannabinoid system within the human body to produce different feelings and effects, both physical and mental.

Q: How is HHC created?

HHC is a hemp-derived chemical compound created in 1944 by an American chemist named Roger Adams. Adams discovered this by adding hydrogen molecules to Delta-9 THC during a process called hydrogenation, it created a chemical reaction that converts THC into HHC. Initially, this process used THC cultivated from the cannabis plant, but nowadays, most HHC is hemp derived.

Q: What does hemp-derived mean?

Did you know that the marijuana and hemp plants are two different plants? They’re both plants that come from cannabis, but have their own slight differences, mainly in THC content. The marijuana plant is typically used to harvest the weed we’re used to smoking. While hemp is harvested for many industrial uses and cultivated for its cannabinoid benefits. So, when a cannabinoid is described as hemp-derived, that means it has been harvested explicitly from the hemp plant itself and not the marijuana plant.

Q. What Does HHC Feel Like?

HHC is known to have similar effects to Delta-8 and Delta-9 THC, as it does possess psychoactive properties. Users claim that the effects of HHC are relaxing and euphoric and that they may help with nausea or promote better rest compared to traditional THC. Everyone is different, though and the best way to determine if HHC is suitable for you is by trying it out for yourself! One thing to keep in mind is that HHC is a more intense experience than Delta-8, so start low and slow when trying out products or sharing them with your friends.

Q: How Safe Is HHC?

There isn’t much research associated with long-term effects of HHC use. Mainly because not many people know what HHC is. This goes for most cannabinoids derived from hemp. Since they’re largely unregulated, hemp-derived cannabinoids do not fall under the same restrictions as most cannabis products. That’s why it’s so important to thoroughly research the company you’re buying from!

THC-O FAQ

Q: What is THC-O?

THC-O Acetate, also known as THC-O is one of the latest, most cutting-edge hemp-derived cannabinoids on the market today. Its a hemp-derived compound that is made when acetic anhydride is mixed with Delta 8. THC-O is known for being highly potent and is said to be even stronger than psychoactive Delta 9.

Q: What are the effects of THC-O

The effects of THC-O vary from person to person, and your experience will be based on how you ingest it and what strain you choose.
Here are the main effects of THC-O that users report: increased appetite, reduced stress, decreased anxiety, reduced nausea and a sense of euphoria. When it comes to creating your desired experience, it’s all about picking the right strain. If you’re more concerned with energy and focus, a Sativa blend could be a good fit for you. Sativa is an excellent option for daytime use as it will keep you alert while stimulating creativity. On the other hand, if you’re looking for something to help you unwind after a long day or fall asleep quickly, an Indica blend would be your best bet. If you don’t want to choose between one or the other, our Hybrid products provide a mixture of both Sativa and Indica’s effects.

Q: Is THC-O Right For Me?

Due to its potency, THC-O may not be for everyone, but it is a be a great option for those seeking a highly psychoactive experience. Additionally, THC-O can work well for those who are looking for pain relief and have not had luck with other cannabinoids because of the way THC-O binds to cannabinoid receptors in the brain. This cannabinoid is a great option if you would like to reap the benefits of traditional THC but live in a state where recreational marijuana use is still illegal.
